Nourish Naturally is a small home business situated at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island which commenced operating in 2002. After years of buying natural soaps at various markets around the countryside I decided to ‘have a go’ at making some soaps for family and friends. After reading many books and finding the list of equipment daunting, I decided to attend a soapmaking course. Little did I know that once I started to make soap I wouldn't be able to stop, and after encouragement from family and friends Nourish Naturally was born.

My love of soaps began in my late teens when I regularly travelled to the North Coast. Along the way, I discovered "The Soap Box", a very tiny little shop/shed in Caloundra. Whenever we went to the Coast we would call in on our way through Caloundra but then one weekend "The Soap Box" disappeared! Whether the soaps they had were natural I don't recall — and I certainly never thought that one day I would make a bar of soap, or for that matter start a small business doing just that.

From there I ventured into skincare and other bath and body products and haven’t looked back.
